FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is an Escape Room?
An Escape Room is a fun-filled themed room filled with puzzles and games that challenge your mind and problem-solving skills. You enter with friends or perhaps strangers but anywhere from six to ten people; your objective is to find the clues and solve the puzzles that will lead you to your room's end goal.
How long does it take?
Please allow 90 minutes for the full experience and arrive at least 15 minutes BEFORE your scheduled time.
Orientation takes about 15 minutes, then you have up to 60 minutes to complete one game and lastly, there is a 5 to 10-minute post-mission photo opportunity.
Each booking is timed down to the minute, so if you arrive at 3:30 for a 3:30 booking you will miss your orientation.
Save time by printing and signing the release form before you enter Outta Time eXcape.
What if I don't want to go in with strangers?
All of our games are now private, when you book a game only your group may enter it with you!
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes, due to liability reasons no one under the age of 13 will be admitted. Ages 13 to 17 must have a ticketed adult accompanying them.
What does the cost of admission cover?
Your admission fee (paid online) will cover your ticket into Outta Time eXcape and ensures the game will be a private event.
Can I take my own photos?
You may take photos before or after completing your mission but not during (to ensure puzzle secrecy).
I am claustrophobic will I be okay in there?
The smallest room is about the length of an average hallway, so if you can walk down a hallway, you should be great! Because of the focus required to complete the games and puzzles, you may not even think about your claustrophobia while you are in the room but if you need to, you can leave whenever you like.
Once you leave, you can't go back in and there are no refunds for leaving.
It's not scary or gross, is it?
This isn't a haunted house, there are little to no jump scares or boogeymen in the walls. The experience is meant to be suspenseful and thrilling, and certain rooms have a "spookier" tone than others but nothing too over the top scary. Nothing worse than what you might see in an episode of The Munsters, The Addams Family, or Scooby-Doo.
